Supergirl Nicolette's heart pounded in her chest as she navigated through the dark, looming halls of the abandoned house. Her senses were on high alert, every muscle tense and ready to spring into action. She had been tracking down a missing chest, rumored to hold powerful artifacts that could tip the scales of good and evil.

As she crept closer to her target, her superhuman hearing picked up a faint buzzing sound emanating from the chest. With caution, she reached out to open it, but her hand flew back in shock as a burst of electricity coursed through her body. The villains had set a trap for her, and now they had the upper hand.

Nicolette struggled against the bonds that held her captive, but they were no match for her strength. She tried to use her heat vision to melt the ropes, but efforts were futile. Panic began to bubble up inside of her as she realized the gravity of her situation.

She could feel a large ball pressing against her tongue, effectively silencing any attempts at calling for help. Despite the fear and uncertainty filling her mind, Nicolette refused to give up. She pushed against the restraints with all of her might, determined not to let this be the end for our hero.

But as time passed and exhaustion set in, Nicolette couldn't help but wonder if this was truly it - if this was how her journey as Supergirl would come to an end. But deep down, she knew that she would never stop fighting until she broke free or breathed her last breath
