Jayme is having another slumber party with her friends. Wearing her favorite faded sweatpants, an oversized sweatshirt, and fuzzy socks, she glances around the circle of girls sprawled across leeping bags in her living room. But with more tape this time?" she adds, bouncing slightly on her heels. Her friends scramble for the silver roll of duct tape, the distinctive ripping sound filling the room as they tear off long strips. They bind her methodically—first her wrists, then working their way up her arms until the silvery cocoon reaches her shoulders. The tape makes a soft crinkling sound as it stretches across her thighs and ankles, pulling the fabric of her sweatpants taut against her skin. When they wrap the tape around her mouth and head, Jayme's eyes crinkle above the makeshift gag, her muffled laughter barely audible. She hops experimentally around the living room, teetering precariously before tumbling onto the carpet with a muted thump. "She's squirming too much," one friend declares, and together they hoist her onto a wooden dining chair. The tape makes one final satisfying tear as they circle it around her torso and the chair back, securing her in place. Jayme tests her bonds with a wiggle and finds herself completely immobilized, utterly at her friends' mercy until they decide to free her.
